Firearm and Ammunition Manufacturer Moving to Chamberlain

State officials say a Kentucky-based firearms and ammunition maker will set up shop in Chamberlain, bringing 24 jobs to the area.

Gov. Mike Rounds says A-Square Co. LLC is an established company with a strong history.

A-Square makes sporting rifles, hunting ammunition, cartridge cases and bullets for hunting ammunition.

Economic development officials say the company's rifle division will move to Glenrock, Wyo., and the nonferrous division will move to Chamberlain.

The company is expected to be up and running in Chamberlain by March.
