Development to Assist with $200,000 Capital Grant
Empire State Development Upstate Chairman Daniel C. Gundersen announced that a $200,000 capital grant was committed to Breton Industries Inc. The grant will be used for construction costs and related expenses associated with a $1 million expansion of Breton’s facility in Amsterdam, New York.
“Breton Industries will invest $1 million to create an additional 20,000 square feet of production area,” said Chairman Gundersen. “This privately-owned business has made a commitment to expand and grow in Montgomery County, pledging to retain 106 jobs and add 10 new jobs over the next five years. This confidence in our workforce preserves quality jobs in Upstate New York and confirms that New York is a great place to do business.”
