Town of Vernon
Vernon is a great place to do business with a well maintained infrastructure and comprehensive Town services. A series of connecting State Routes include Routes 83, 74, 31, and 30. Vernon has over 100 miles of local roads and more than 20 miles of state highways. Bradley International Airport is also readily accessible.
With numerous development projects being proposed, Vernon continues to be a successful location. Approximately 450,000 square feet of retail, office and commercial projects are in planning and development, including new construction, re-use of existing buildings, expansions and improvements. Over forty new businesses have located here in the past five months.
