QualServ Corporation to move corporate headquarters to Fort Smith
More than 100 new jobs to be created
QualServ Corporation, a manufacturer of custom cabinetry for restaurants and retail outlets throughout the United States, announced plans to move its corporate headquarters to Fort Smith. The company currently has a manufacturing facility in Fort Smith, in addition to manufacturing facilities in Kansas City, Missouri and Columbia, South Carolina. The move of the corporate headquarters from Missouri to Fort Smith will result in 40 new jobs. In addition to the 40 new jobs at corporate headquarters, 75 manufacturing jobs will be added in Fort Smith at an average hourly wage of $17.75.
QualServ, located in Fort Smith since 1979, serves customers such as Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, Wal-Mart and Lowes.
“We welcome Qualserv’s expanded presence in Fort Smith after its nearly three decades in Arkansas,” Governor Mike Beebe said. “This is a prime example of how a strong manufacturing workforce can bring additional jobs and expansion to a community.”
The Fort Smith facility currently manufactures stainless steel, and wood laminate products, as well as additional equipment for the hospitality industry.
With the addition of the new employees, QualServ will employ more than 400 people in Fort Smith.

“QualServ has already established itself as one of our top employers here in Fort Smith, and this announcement will put them over the 400 employee mark,” Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce Tom Manskey said. “To top it off with the relocation of their corporate headquarters from the Kansas City metro area to the Greater Fort Smith Region makes this a great announcement for all of Arkansas.”
