The newest and largest Kroger store in Arkansas to-date had a Grand Opening Celebration on Thursday, September 18, 2008. The store is located at 110 Commons Drive in Maumelle, Arkansas. The store manager, Richard Highley has 26 years of Kroger service.
Kroger Delta Division has made a monumental investment toward this new Maumelle store that is replacing its former location at 101 Commerce Street. Offering upscale décor with new variety and selections for the community, total store square footage is 83,000 sq. ft. with over 64,740 sq. ft. of actual shopping space for the customer. The store is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Seasonal Savings Aisle changes with the seasons, offering the customer new and exciting merchandise. Everything from Halloween favorites to everyday needs, this area adds the true “one stop shopping” experience with new and exciting merchandise year around. In addition, customers can find everything they need in the Stationary department for stationary, school and office supplies.
Designed with a department store ambience, the “All About You” section is unique to Arkansas. A first for the Delta division, this area offers 612 feet of personal needs reinvention with an all new health and beauty presentation dedicated toward every type of personal care. Color-coded sections, specialty lighting and enhanced graphics allow the shopper to find the expanded variety toward total beauty and personal care.
The new Maumelle Kroger Pharmacy is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday noon to 6:00 pm. Pharmacy patients can have their prescriptions filled while they shop or enjoy the convenience of two lane drive-through service, open the same convenient hours. All major prescription drug plans are accepted. Free Health Screenings will be conducted on September 18 between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm. that includes Total Cholesterol, Blood Glucose, Blood Pressure and Body Mass Index testing.
Serving the customer from 9am to 9pm everyday, the Kroger Butcher Shoppe offers custom cuts, sliced to the customer’s specifications upon request. Choose from USDA Choice Beef, Private Selection Angus Beef, Moist & Tender Pork and more, or select from ready to cook marinated and seasoned specialty favorites. Service Seafood offers a large assortment of freshness from the sea everyday. Choose from tilapia to salmon or enjoy our large assortment of shrimp or crab.

The Kroger Garden offers the freshest grown produce everyday. The produce area will include Berry, Apple, Citrus and Tomato Destinations. In addition, there is a wide variety of fresh-cut fruit made fresh in the store as well as an expanded vegetable section and a minimum of 75 fresh organic produce items. The Nature’s Market is an expanded area committed to natural and organic products. Customers can now choose from over 3,200 items including convenience foods, kids meals, specialty foods, allergen free and more, plus the Nature’s Market offers a designated refrigerated and frozen section.

Select from 32 varieties of fresh in-store made Specialty Salads. Customers may choose from the Sandwich Station available from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Daily.
