The mission of Northern Kentucky Tri-ED is to build a world-class economy in Northern Kentucky through the expansion of existing businesses and the creation and attraction of high-quality, primary industry employers. Northern Kentucky Tri-ED is primarily responsible for Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties and assists by:
• Marketing Northern Kentucky to attract new businesses
• Retaining and expanding existing industries
• Providing entrepreneurial support to start-up and existing companies.

Northern Kentucky Tri-ED markets and promotes region on a national and international basis as a location for new or expanding:
• Advanced manufacturing projects
• Professional office and headquarter operations
• Technology-oriented projects
• Aviation projects
• Emerging clusters: life science and water technology
