FL: TeleTech Selects Rockledge to Expand, Add 300 More Jobs

Jul 30, 2015

TeleTech, a leading global provider of customer experience, engagement and growth solutions that employs 500 in Melbourne, plans to expand its workforce at a site in Rockledge by up to 300 customer experience positions.

“We are very excited to be expanding our customer experience team in Brevard County. The opportunity to have additional full-time and seasonal employees will help us respond to the needs of our clients and future clients more efficiently,” said Kimberly Johnson, vice president of Operations at TeleTech.

TeleTech is looking for Customer Service and Sales Representatives and Licensed Healthcare Insurance Sales Agents. TeleTech will cover the cost of the licensing training and exam fees for prequalified applicants interested to participate in their Healthcare Insurance Career Development Program to become licensed in this growing field.

These positions are well suited for people with customer service or sales experience, Licensed Healthcare Insurance Agents and those looking to start a career with TeleTech, as they involve working with nationally-recognized health insurance clients. Candidates with Spanish bilingual skills are in high demand. TeleTech offers competitive wages, sign-on bonus, expanded performance incentives, extensive training, and career advancement opportunities.

The Economic Development Commission (EDC) of Florida’s Space Coast worked closely with TeleTech to identify potential worksites and workforce recruitment resources. “TeleTech is a global leader in customer experience throughout a variety of industries. We are excited they chose Brevard County because of the site selection opportunities and talent pool,” commented Lynda Weatherman, president and chief executive officer of the EDC.

While the Rockledge location is being finished, interested applicants are invited to attend a job fair at TeleTech’s Melbourne office located at 1398 S Babcock Street on Monday, August 3 from 9am to 1pm. The customer experience positions as well as site leadership opportunities will be available at both the Melbourne and Rockledge locations as TeleTech expands by more than 400 employees between now and October.
