SC: BB&T to Invest $30M, Construct Greenville County Facility for 600 Jobs

BB&T, one of the largest financial services holding companies in the United States,  announced the construction of a new facility in Greenville County. The development represents a capital investment of $30 million.

Based in Winston-Salem, N.C., BB&T operates more than 2,196 financial centers in 15 states and offers a full range of consumer and commercial banking, securities brokerage, asset management, mortgage and insurance products and services. Located at 825 East Butler Road in Mauldin, S.C., BB&T will be constructing a new 140,000-square-foot mortgage servicing center, which will house more than 600 BB&T associates. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of the fourth quarter of 2017.
