NC: Structure Medical to Invest $3M to Expand Mooresville Facility

Structure Medical, LLC, selects their Mooresville, NC facility for a $3 million investment and plans to hire 10 new full-time jobs.

Structure Medical, LLC has been located in Deerfield Business Park since 2006 and currently employs 60 people.

Structure Medical, LLC is a leading manufacturer of medical implant products that are used by orthopedic surgeons to treat disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

“This investment will expand our wide range of capabilities such as prototyping, complex machining and multi-component assemblies,” said Robert Boody, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Based upon the Iredell County and Town of Mooresville Discretionary Incentive Grant policy a request was made by the Mooresville-South Iredell Economic Development Corporation on the company’s behalf.  The Town of Mooresville and Iredell County grant policy is a performance-based reimbursement program.  Structure Medical, LLC may receive a rebate up to $132,900 from the combined municipalities over a five-year period.
