SC: Oxco to Invest $13M, Launch York County Operations, Hire 130

Oxco, Inc., a light manufacturer and supplier of non-woven materials, is launching new operations in York County to accommodate the company's continued growth. The project is expected to bring approximately $13 million in new capital investment and create more than 130 new jobs.

Established in Charlotte, N.C. in 1994, Oxco operates within the non-woven industrial fabrics industry and is a light manufacturer and supplier of non-woven materials for a variety of markets and end-use applications.

Located in Lakemont Business Park in Fort Mill, S.C., the company will be constructing a new 150,000-square-foot facility, expandable up to 200,000 square feet. Hiring for the new positions is projected to begin in the second quarter of 2018, and those interested in applying should visit the company's career page online.

The Coordinating Council has approved job development credits, as well as a $200,000 Set Aside grant to York County to assist with the cost of real property improvements related to the project.
