ID: Paylocity Chooses Boise, Creating 500+ Jobs

Nov 12, 2015

Paylocity, a provider of cloud-based payroll and human capital management software solutions for medium-size organizations, has selected Boise for a new expansion facility with plans to create more than 500 quality jobs.

“Paylocity is thrilled to be opening an office in Boise. With an expanding tech presence and a flourishing community and culture, Boise was the ideal choice for Paylocity’s newest location. We look forward to building a team in Boise to help us on our mission to elevate payroll and HR professionals from the backroom to the boardroom,” says Steve Beauchamp, Paylocity CEO.

Choosing the City of Boise was part of a seven-month process, which required a collaborative effort with many partners including the City of Boise Mayor’s Office, Boise Valley Economic Partnership, Capital City Development Corporation, Idaho Department of Commerce, Boise State University, CBRE, Trailhead, community leaders and HR representatives.

“Paylocity is a welcome addition to our thriving downtown and rapidly growing high-tech sector, and they will create quality jobs for our citizens. I couldn’t be more pleased with the way Boise competed to bring them here,” said Boise Mayor David Bieter. “In this industry, they could operate in any city in the United States and they chose Boise.”

Paylocity plans to hire over the next five-plus years an estimated 500 jobs, including roles such as client service, implementation, technical services, software development and other related functions.  Paylocity was approved for a Tax Reimbursement Incentive.

Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter said, “We are excited to add Paylocity to the list of companies leveraging the Tax Reimbursement Incentive for a major expansion in Idaho.  The addition of high-paying technology jobs in the Boise Valley will create fantastic employment opportunities for people in a number of fields.”

The Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP), Idaho Department of Commerce, and the City of Boise have been working with the company since March 2015, and see Paylocity as the strongest project that’s considered the Valley in the past several years.

BVEP Executive Director Clark Krause explains, “Great companies like Paylocity look for high quality people, and there is no better place to find them than the Boise Metro.  We worked closely with community leaders, the cities, and even created video projects to tell the Boise Valley story to this company.”

Paylocity is interviewing now and hiring immediately with plans to open its Boise office in January 2016, on the fourth floor of the C.W. Moore Plaza. Those interested in pursuing a career with Paylocity should visit the company website to submit an application: http://careers.paylocity.com/.
