Governor Nathan Deal

As Governor of Georgia, Nathan Deal leads the state’s economic development team. Governor Deal was sworn in on January 10, 2011, following nine terms in the U.S. Congress, where he served as president pro tem and as chairman and ranking member of the Subcommittee on Health. His public service also includes 12 years in the state Senate and work as a criminal prosecutor and a juvenile court judge.
