WI: Governor Walker Announces Tax Credits for United Alloy

Governor Scott Walker announced today that United Alloy, Janesville, is eligible for up to $200,000 in tax credits through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), creating up to 32 jobs related to the company’s expansion.

WEDC will provide United Alloy up to $200,000 in Development Opportunity Zone Tax Credits to expand and equip its warehouse to accommodate growth for the power generation industry, growth in rental power generation, telecommunications, disaster recovery and strategic commercial shift from a job model to contract fabrication model.

The Development Opportunity Zone Tax Credits are designated just for business development in Kenosha, Janesville and Beloit.

WEDC will be distribute the tax credits annually over a three-year period in direct relation to the company’s capital investment and number of new, full-time positions created and filled over that time period.

United Alloy is a Certified Women Owned Business known for producing the highest quality diesel fuel tanks, generator frames, and heavy metal fabrications and weldments.

The WEDC is Wisconsin’s lead economic development agency.
