WI: Kwik Trip Breaks Ground on New Distribution Center in DeForest, to Employ 400 Workers

To help reduce distribution costs, Kwik Trip broke ground last week on a new distribution center in DeForest, Wis., which when fully operational is expected to employ 400 people. The company is looking for construction to be completed in 2025.

Currently, Kwik Trip's more than 875 locations are serviced from a 600,000-square-foot distribution center in La Crosse. The new 280,000-square-foot facility in DeForest will serve about 350 stores in southern Wisconsin.

The DeForest distribution center will be the company's first outside of La Crosse, where Kwik Trip is headquartered. The new site will also include a truck wash and maintenance facility.
