AR: Elite Comfort Solutions to Expand Fort Smith Facility, Add 100 Jobs

Elite Comfort Solutions (ECS), a newly formed platform company of Arsenal Capital Partners, is a foam manufacturing entity focused on serving the bedding, furniture and home furnishings markets. It announced an expansion of the company’s Fort Smith, Arkansas manufacturing facility. More than 100 new jobs will be added through the expansion, bringing total employment to approximately 185, creating increased hiring opportunities in all facets of the plants daily operation.  The Fort Smith ECS facility is a carve out/acquisition of Hickory Spring Manufacturing (HSM), and is located at 4921 State Line Road.

ECS is now a leading manufacturer of flexible polyurethane and viscoelastic foams, specifically specialty foams, designed to deliver enhanced performance to various home furnishings end- markets.

Rick Ralston, VP of operations for ECS-East noted, “The Fort Smith facility is a critical piece to the overall manufacturing and distribution model of the company’s market expansion strategy.  ECS is leveraging existing underutilized assets as well as investing in new equipment and technology to promote enhanced performance products in certain bedding, furniture and ecommerce served markets.”

We appreciate ECS’ decision to continue to invest in Arkansas and our workforce.”
