BJ’s Wholesale Club continues to expand its footprint, with plans to open 10 new stores this year.
The warehouse retailer opened a location in Lansing, Mich., at the end of January, which was BJ's fourth site in the state, bringing it's total number of U.S. locations to 226.
The Lansing location, which will have a BJ’s Gas on-site, marked BJ’s third club opening in January. Earlier in the month, BJ’s opened new clubs in Commack, N.Y., and in Port Charlotte, Fla. And at the end of 2021, in December, the retailer opened a store in South Fayette Township, Pa., its 18th in the state.
Headquartered in Westborough, Mass., BJ’s currently operates 225 clubs and 156 BJ's Gas locations in 17 states.
