A monetary award Muscle Shoals officials have been hoping to receive has come through.
The money, $133,000, will help construct a partial road that will connect Counts Drive to Northwest Alabama Airport and provide better access to the Shoals Research Airpark.
In addition, the money will help build a gravity flow sewer system in the industrial park, according to Mayor David Bradford.
