The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) has announced approval of a Goodman business to begin retaining withholding taxes under the Quality Jobs Program.
Bell Ventures/ USA Tank Storage Systems has met the minimum threshold of 20 new jobs created, and the average wage of the new jobs equals or exceeds the county average wage as required to begin receiving benefits under the Missouri Quality Jobs Program. Bell Ventures/ USA Tank Storage Systems is entitled to retain 100 percent of the withholding tax of new jobs created at the project facility for a period of three years.
Bell Ventures/USA Tank Storage Systems provides liquid and dry bulk storage systems to businesses.
The Quality Jobs Program was implemented in 2005. It provides benefits for companies creating a minimum number of jobs as required by project type. For program eligibility, the average wage of the new jobs must be at least the county average wage, the employees must work an average of 35 hours a week and the employer must offer health insurance to the employee, paying at least fifty percent of the premium.
