ND: Von Maur to Open Department Store in Fargo Mall, to Employ 125

Von Maur Department Store plans to open a 90,000-square-foot store at a mall in Fargo, ND, in the spring of 2025 that will eventually employ 125. It will be the first Von Maur location in North Dakota as the family-owned company’s national growth strategy continues to build, reports SGB Media.

Construction of the Von Maur store will begin this summer and will feature the company’s signature residential ambiance, original artwork, an open floor plan, and music from the store’s grand piano. It is expected that the store will eventually employ 125 associates – the majority of which will be full-time. The company offers its associates above-market wages, excellent benefits, and a positive, professional work environment.

Once open, this store will represent Von Maur’s second investment at West Acres Mall in Fargo. In 2018, the company opened its Dry Goods store, a youthful, contemporary women’s apparel and accessories retailer.
