Governor Steve Beshear
Commonwealth of Kentucky
Governor Steve Beshear has committed his life to the betterment of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Aside from his service as Governor, Beshear has served as a State Representative, Attorney General and Lt. Governor.
A native of Dawson Springs, he was one of five children of a Baptist minister and a mother who was dedicated to her community. They instilled values of integrity, strong religious faith, hard work and respect for others - values obvious throughout Steve's career.
