IL: McGladrey LLP to Move HQ to Chicago, Add 300-500 Professional Positions

Mayor Emanuel announced that McGladrey LLP will move its headquarters to Chicago.

"I welcome McGladrey to Chicago and commend them on their choice of Chicago for their corporate headquarters," said Mayor Emanuel. "McGladrey will create significant economic opportunity and job growth throughout Chicago as it supports its local clients and grows its business. Chicago has the talent that will help McGladrey thrive for years to come."

McGladrey is the sixth company to relocate its corporate headquarters to the City of Chicago. Attracting corporate headquarters is a key focus of the Plan for Economic Growth and Jobs, produced by World Business Chicago earlier this year at Mayor Emanuel's request. McGladrey joins Federal Savings Bank, GE Transportation, ThyssenKrupp, Sara Lee, and Sagence Partners as companies that have opted to move either their corporate or North American Headquarters to the city.
