Feb 01, 2019

Municipal governments are increasingly using behavior change strategies to save energy in their communities. For this study the authors surveyed cities across North America and analyzed 50 behavior change programs offered by 40 local governments in 18 states and Canada. The report provides an overview of locally led programs in terms of their goals, design, implementation, and impacts. It also gives detailed information on numerous locally led program examples and make recommendations to help local governments develop their own programs.
