SC: Sun City Produce to Open New Distribution Center, Hire 81

Sun City Produce, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sun Commodities, Inc., is establishing operations in Greenville County. The project is expected to create 81 new jobs in Piedmont, S.C. over the next five years.

Headquartered in Pompano Beach, Fla., Sun Commodities, Inc., which operates as the Sun Group of Companies, is a privately held organization majority-owned by Hillandale Farms. As a leading producer of fresh fruits and vegetables, the firm is aiming to expand its growing retail market across the Southeast in the coming years.

To support this mission, Sun Commodities' subsidiary, Sun City Produce is establishing distribution operations in Greenville County. Located within the Matrix Industrial Park at 920 Matrix Parkway in Piedmont, the 113,000-square-foot facility is expected to generate 81 new jobs.
