AAPA to Host Ports in DC for Legislative Summit

The American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) is excited to host its annual Legislative Summit: Strong Ports, Strong America in Washington, DC, March 27-30.

The American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) is excited to host its annual Legislative Summit: Strong Ports, Strong America in Washington, DC, March 27-30. Currently, 50 ports from across the country will be represented at the conference.

This is the premier port industry government affairs and advocacy forum that connects senior port executives from around the nation to discuss key issues to the maritime industry. The 2023 Legislative Summit: Strong Ports, Strong America will feature key federal executive and legislative policymakers including:

  • White House Senior Advisor & Infrastructure Implementation Coordinator Mitch Landrieu
  • U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Deputy Secretary Polly Trottenberg
  • Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works Michael L. Connor
  • U.S. Department of Agriculture Foreign Agricultural Service Administrator Daniel Whitley
  • House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Ranking Member Rick Larsen (WA-03).
  • Congressional PORTS Caucus Co-Chair Representative Robert Garcia (D-CA)

AAPA will host internal meetings closed to the press on Monday, March 27. Conference programming will begin Tuesday, March 28 at 1 p.m.
