Innotrac Corporation, a best-in-class commerce provider integrating digital technology, fulfillment, contact center and business intelligence solutions, announced the expansion of its U.S. footprint with a new direct-to-consumer fulfillment center in Southern California.
The Redlands, California, location will represent Innotrac’s ninth U.S. facility and will open in early May. The 300,000 sq. ft. building is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and is strategically located near major carrier hubs.
“Southern California is a prime location for eCommerce retailers,” said Robert Toner, COO of Innotrac. “In addition to expanding globally, we’ve had repeated requests from our clients for dual locations; specifically for one of those facilities to be located on the west coast. For many of our clients, reducing time in transit to their customers is becoming more critical in today’s competitive landscape. Having a national footprint that reaches most of the major markets in a couple of days with standard delivery will help our clients reduce time in transit and shipping costs.”
“We’re excited about the growth that Innotrac is experiencing, but also about the new opportunities it will bring to the communities where we’re building,” said Glenn Furneaux, VP of human resources at Innotrac. “Our Redlands facility is expected to create hundreds of jobs by the end of the year, and we’re looking forward to a long lasting partnership with that community.”
Future expansion plans are underway for a tenth Innotrac location in Chicago, opening this summer.
