Denmark-based Power Stow, in partnership with Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development and Georgia Department of Economic Development, announced it will open its US headquarters in the City of Norcross, Gwinnett County, Georgia. Power Stow, a manufacturer and marketer of a versatile belt loader extension for use in the Airline and Air Cargo industries, will bring 25 jobs over the next three years to the community.
“Before launching these operations in Georgia, all of our production was handled in Denmark, which made it difficult to reach customers in the North and South American markets,” stated Ben Reeves, Vice President for Power Stow Americas Inc. “By establishing our headquarters in Gwinnett County, we are now centrally located and able to take advantage of the incentives offered through the Norcross Opportunity Zone, which will be a tremendous asset to our future growth potential.”
Located at 6175 Northbelt Parkway, the company’s 20,000-square foot Norcross facility will house sales and after-market support services, as well as the manufacturing of Power Stow’s patented Rollertrack baggage conveyor system.
“With more than 500 aerospace companies in Georgia, our state is calling the attention of top-notch manufacturers,” said Georgia Department of Economic Development Commissioner Chris Carr. “Power Stow’s decision to choose Georgia as its first U.S. headquarters explains that our highly skilled workforce, solid transportation network and dynamic business climate will help booming companies such as Power Stow reach new markets in the U.S.”
“The advanced manufacturing sector plays a significant role in Gwinnett’s diverse economy,” stated Gwinnett County Board of Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash. “Our business climate is further strengthened when companies, such as Power Stow, choose to open headquarters in our community.”
Power Stow’s announcement comes on the heels of an impressive year filled with multiple international wins for Gwinnett – a County which boasts a global business base of more than 500 companies. Denmark-based Power Stow will join more than 40 businesses from the Nordic countries with active operations in Gwinnett County.

Power Stow was established in 2003 by Martin Vestergaard, a well-known figure within the international ground support equipment trade industry. Headquartered in Roskilde, Denmark, near Copenhagen, the company has a strong presence across Europe, Asia, Oceania and Canada.
“The state has worked to create a welcoming environment for international businesses. As a result, many of the companies we support choose Georgia for their expansion into US markets,” stated Danish Trade Commissioner Carsten Rosendahl.

Georgia Department of Economic Development Project Manager Nico Wijnberg and Lonnie Smallwood of Electric Cities of Georgia represented the State of Georgia on this project. Troels Adrian, Senior Project Manager for Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development, and Rusty Warner, Economic Development Director for the City of Norcross, worked to bring Power Stow to Gwinnett and the City of Norcross.
