MI: Israel’s EILOR Magnetic Cores Opens in Automation Alley, its First U.S. Site

9 Mar, 2018

EILOR Magnetic Cores specializing in the manufacturing of blocks and tape wound magnetic cores opened an office in the Automation Alley’s International Business Center (IBC) as it looks to grow its presence in the USA.

Automation Alley is Southeast Michigan’s Industry 4.0 collaborative and made up of nearly 1,000 technology companies.

“We are committed to the US market and we look to invest in both a sales /technical office and in manufacturing in the next few years,” said EILOR’s CEO, Dotan Feinmesser.  “We are working with Oakland County’s Economic Development Team to plan our long-term growth in the State of Michigan”

Dotan Feinmesser and Patrice Zamor are in the USA this week, meeting with customers and partners.

“We are proud to have EILOR Magnetic Cores locating in Oakland County,” commented Irene Spanos, director of economic development, “With our globally known Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) success, having over 1,000 foreign firms from 39 different countries, we can offer the support that EILOR needs to launch and be successful long term in our nation.”

Oakland County’s Manufacturing Jobs grew by over 19,000 in 2017.  The county hosted, The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Annual State of the Manufacturing Industry earlier this year at Automation Alley and will again be hosting a county-wide Manufacturing DAY this October.

“When you look at the USA, Michigan stands out as the center of manufacturing for the North American market,” Feinmesser continued. “It was an easy decision for us to choose Michigan for Eilor’s U.S. location, too”.
