Jul 20, 2012

Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty joined with MGM Industries executives to announce expansion plans for the company’s Hendersonville, Tenn. facility, located at 287 Free Hill Road. The expansion represents an investment of $3 million and the creation of 75 jobs during a three year period. The additional jobs will include production, engineering and maintenance positions.

“Congratulations to MGM Industries on their commitment to Sumner County,” Hagerty said. “The race for new jobs is now a global competition, and when an existing Tennessee company chooses to expand and grow in our state, it reaffirms we have the right strategies in place. Governor Haslam’s economic development plan for our state is working and yielding results.”

Founded in Hendersonville, Tenn. in1965, MGM Industries has been making high quality fenestration products for residential and light commercial construction projects large and small for over 45 years. The family-operated company manufactures custom painted vinyl window and doors.

“We have positioned our company for the future by making a $1 million capital investment to painted vinyl windows and doors,” Joe Gaskins, vice president of sales, MGM Industries, said. “We are also introducing a new brand of paint which will be branded 'Uncle Omer's Premium Vinyl Paint.'
