Dec 20, 2012

Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin issued the following statement after NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) announced its Kanawha County facility will expand by 11,000 square feet and add 34 new jobs by the end of 2013.

"Today's announcement is a testament to the hard-work of NGK's employees at their Sissonville facility," Gov. Tomblin said. "It's clear, NGK's employees are essential to the company's success and ability to remain on the cutting edge of automotive technology. I'm proud of West Virginia's workforce and am thankful NGK continues to expand its roots here. NGK's commitment once again shows the world what great partners our people are to business."
