Intersect Illinois is excited to announce the first North American Headquarters for Powermatic Technologies. With similar operations in both Dubai UAE and Leuven, Belgium, this U.S. expansion will brings 72 highly skilled job opportunities to our state in the next 12-18 months.
Powermatic Technologies has chosen to locate its first footprint in the U.S. at mHub in Chicago. “Hands-down one of the best hardware-oriented startup incubators globally with state-of-the-art programs, a collaborative community and access to a diverse group of powerful mentors. We think mHub makes the perfect landing spot for us with room for immediate growth” said Hazim Al Hajjaj, Powermatic Technologies president and CEO. With access to the U.S market, Mr. Hajjaj intends to expand rapidly and plans to open the company’s U.S. manufacturing facility in 2019.
Powermatic Technologies works to develop and produce high-tech solutions and devices for power control and protection. It currently provides solutions to customers in over 45 countries through a vast distribution network.
