New tech industry investment retains 30 jobs, brings over 200 in next 5 years

Top Gun Sales Performance, a global sales support organization providing consulting, training and personnel for Fortune 500 clients, will invest $4 million to purchase and relocate to an expanded headquarters at 5155 Financial Way, along the Mason-Montgomery Road corridor. The company expects to create over 200 new high paying jobs at the new location in the next five years. In addition, through an innovative incentive package offered by the City of Mason and Mason Port Authority, Top Gun will renovate additional space in the building to create a Technical Resource Center for start-ups in the digital/IT and BIO health sectors. This announcement furthers Mason's work to develop more critical mass in the City of Mason in these two sectors strengthening the digital/IT and BIO health industry clusters both in Mason and the Region.

"We are extremely excited about this opportunity to continue our growth in Mason," said Steven Osborne, President of Top Gun Sales Performance. "Mason was our top choice due to its location, infrastructure, available services, and leadership. This innovative development package will enable Top Gun Sales to accelerate our growth and maximize the potential of this once vacant building far beyond what we could do by ourselves."

The City of Mason and Mason Port Authority will provide a $200,000 performance loan incentive that secures the company's investment for 20 years and assists in the expansion, renovation and retrofit of the headquarters and the creation of jobs. The City of Mason also negotiated a Business Recruitment Services Program incentive with Top Gun where Mason will provide up to $200,000 in funds, which in turn generates $500,000 in added economic development resources for the City.

"We are excited about this most recent economic development win for the City of Mason," said Mason Mayor David Nichols. "This is another example of Mason City Council, working together, to be proactive and aggressive in economic development."

"The partnership between the Mason economic development team and the Mason Port provides valuable resources and expertise to make this type of creative incentive package with Top Gun possible," said Bob Hauser, chair of the Mason Port Authority.
