AL: ISA Alabama Corp. To Expand Into Geneva County Industrial Park, Creating 80 New Jobs

ISA Alabama Corp. announced the expansion of its manufacturing operation into the 45,000-square-foot speculative building in the Geneva County, Ala., Industrial Park.

In a joint press release, Alabama Department of Commerce Secretary Greg Canfield, Geneva County Commission Chairman Toby Seay and ISA Alabama Corp. President John Feusner announced the expansion of ISA Alabama Corp. manufacturing operation into the 45,000-square-foot speculative building in the Geneva County Industrial Park located on State Highway 167.

“We are pleased to welcome ISA Alabama Corp. to Geneva County, the Wiregrass region and the state of Alabama. This project is further proof of the tremendous collaboration of regional teamwork working with ISA Alabama Corp. at the state, regional and local levels,” said Secretary Canfield. “ISA Alabama Corp. represents the best in latex product manufacturing and will be a great addition to Alabama’s diverse manufacturing base and will be a premiere employer in southeast Alabama.”

ISA Alabama Corp. is a multi-national company that is involved in the manufacturing, engineering, design, research and development that produces in excess of 100 million dipped nitrile latex parts annually with state-of-the-art production equipment, fabrication facilities and executive management with over 100 years of combined experience, knowledge and expertise in all areas of the rubber dipping industry. ISA Alabama Corp. product profile involves nitrile gloves, latex gloves and boot coverings that supply an array of industry sectors.

The Geneva County Commission has worked very hard to put the economic pieces together by establishing the Geneva County Industrial Park and then adding the new 45,000-square-foot speculative building so that we could position our area for opportunities. Through the Commission’s investment in the new speculative building and partnership with PowerSouth and Wiregrass Electric Cooperative, we were able to set up the investment in this project and working regional with our partners in the Wiregrass region were able to pursue opportunity and locating ISA Alabama Corp. to our area is the culmination of much work and effort to support their growth and create economic opportunities for our citizens,” said Chairman Seay.

With project agreements finalized, the project will take the next steps with finishing out the speculative building, building industrial access road extension and phasing in a hiring plan. The company is planning to be in operation in the third quarter of 2023 and this project will create 80 new jobs into the local economy.
