With many companies shedding employees in a weakening economy, an auto parts supply company here plans to increase its work force by more than half.
Federal-Mogul Sealing Systems plans to hire 110 people after a $21.7 million investment in the Freeman Avenue plant to accommodate a new product line, plant Manager Tom Scott said Wednesday.
About 200 employees work at the plant.
Scott said creation of the new jobs is expected to start in the fourth quarter of this year and wind up in the first half of next year.
