Matrix Wire to Increase Work Force

Auburn plant to hire 20-25 employees Amy Weaver Staff Writer Published: June 30, 2009 Matrix Wire in Auburn is currently looking to increase its work force to help meet the demands for increased production. The custom-wire fabrication business recently acquired a new customer and “that’s got us working 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” said Mike Diers, vice president of the Auburn Matrix plant. The company would like to hire between 20 and 25 new employees as soon as possible and create a weekend shift, Diers said. Matrix is seeking to fill a number of positions including engineers, production manager, lead production operators, production operators, production supervisors and maintenance technicians.
