Sprouts Farmers Market recently opened its new 25,000-square-foot flagship store at City North in Phoenix, which anchors a new development that also features Sprouts’ new corporate headquarters. The 144,500-square-foot headquarters, scheduled to open this summer, replaces a smaller space in the metro area and accommodates the company's nationwide expansion that includes a growing corporate team, reports Progressive Grocer.
“Opening our new flagship store in Phoenix is a proud milestone for Sprouts and a meaningful investment in our home state of Arizona. This location brings our health-forward experience to life in a new way while helping more customers live and eat better every day,” said Dave McGlinchey, chief development officer at Sprouts. “We’re especially excited to anchor this development alongside our new headquarters, reinforcing our long-term commitment to the Phoenix community and our continued growth across Arizona.”
A second new Sprouts store also opened in Buckeye, Ariz., and the company also recently opened a third location in Delaware. On July 31, the grocer will debut a new store in Weatherford, Texas.
All Sprouts stores provide a wide selection of everyday and specialty items, including fresh produce, high-quality proteins, healthy bulk goods and thousands of wellness products with expert in-store guidance. Additionally, the stores feature convenient, budget-friendly lunch solutions like daily-rolled sushi, custom deli sandwiches and ready-to-eat wellness bowls.
Sprouts is invested in serving the communities where it operates, so each new store will also work with local and regional farmers.
In September, Sprouts is scheduled to debut its second New York store in Hartsdale. The company is also preparing to expand into Ohio, with its first store in the state to open in Columbus in 2028.
