Love’s Travel Stops is now serving customers in Alamosa, Colorado, thanks to a new country store that creates 30 new jobs for the community. This is Love’s first location to open in 2026.
The store sits just southwest of the intersection of Highways 17 and 160, providing access to fresh food, clean restrooms, RV amenities and more. The Alamosa country store includes Love’s fresh food items such as sandwiches, salads, wraps and fresh-cut fruit prepared on-site daily. The food is made in an open kitchen concept where customers can see food items prepared. The location also includes Godfather’s Pizza. Love’s is one of the largest food service operators in the country.
RVers will have access to three RV parking spaces and an RV dump. As a new Love’s, each store has space for EV chargers allocated to be able to quickly partner with local utility companies and install EV charging stations should there be customer demand.
In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $5,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of San Luis Valley and $5,000 to Children’s Hospital Colorado. In addition, Love’s district managers work with eligible nonprofits in their area to make donations through community grants on an annual basis.
