CO: Spanish Bicycle Brand Mondraker Expands With North American Base In Boulder

Mondraker Bicycles, the pioneering brand from Spain known for leading the evolution of frame geometry and design of high-performance mountain bikes, will be opening its new North American base in Boulder, Colo., this month, reports Bicycle Retailer.

"The USA has always been right there at the top of our bucket list with a big red circle drawn around it," says Mondraker CEO Miguel Pina. "We just had to wait for the right moment. We've always considered that the identity of Mondraker as a brand really fits with the likes and demands of the American market, and after a short period of working through distributors we came to the conclusion that strategically it made more sense to open a base in the USA and develop the true potential of our brand in the same country that invented the mountain bike".

The Mondraker USA office will be the hub for Customer Service, Technical Service, Marketing and Sales Management. Mondraker will also showcase its lineup of pedal and electric-assist mountain bikes, as well as offer demo bikes, host community and exclusive dealer events, and support the community of Boulder and the North American market from the new location, Bicycle Retailer reports.
