CO & FL: Lockheed Secures $473M Contract for Work on Missile Program

Lockheed Martin Corp. has secured a $473 million U.S. Navy contract to perform work for the Trident II missile program.
Most of the work will wake place in Denver, but portions of the project will be in Brevard County, Fla., specifially in Titusville and Cape Canaveral. The contract will finish by Sept. 30, 2026.
Lockheed — one of Central Florida's biggest employers with about 8,000 local workers — operates two campuses in Orlando: Missiles & Fire Control in southwest Orlando and Rotary and Missions System in east Orlando. It also operates a space systems facility in Titusville.
