FL: Emelody Worldwide to Relocate Manufacturing to New Apopka Facility, Creating 77 New Jobs

Emelody Worldwide, an aerospace and defense technology company based in Georgia, has announced a major $20 million expansion involving the relocation of its manufacturing operations to a new facility in Apopka, Fla. The planned 60,000-square-foot aerospace manufacturing site is expected to create 77 new jobs. 

Emelody Worldwide specializes in research, technology demonstrator systems, and 3D printing for the aerospace, automotive, and defense sectors. The company is actively recruiting from local institutions like the University of Central Florida (UCF) and the University of Florida (UF). Job openings in Apopka include roles for CMM Programmers, Supply Chain Managers, and Prototype Manufacturing Engineers. 

The move to Apopka, aligns with Florida's growth as a "gateway to space," attracting various defense and aerospace firms to the region.
