The city of Jacksonville, Fla., is reviewing site plans and a building permit for a proposed glass products manufacturing plant near the Pine Forest area, the Jacksonville Business Journal reports.
Florida Glass Co. LLC recently filed a $1.2 million building permit for a proposed 31,250-square-foot manufacturing plant at 3817 Grant Road. Site plans show a 6,000-square-foot warehouse, a 2,135-square-foot office space and a 31,250-square-foot manufacturing space. The one-story building would house a fabrication area for cutting glass and assembling insulating glass, as well as an office, staff lounge, restrooms and “miscellaneous support spaces.”
The site plans list three parcels as the building site, including a 0.34-acre parcel, a 2.11-acre parcel and a 2.76-acre parcel.
