A new waterfront destination designed to bring the community together is coming to the heart of Viera. Lakeside Social at Viera Town Center, a waterfront bar, curated food vendor park, and live entertainment venue, is set to open in early June 2026 as a central amenity for the growing Viera community. It will span four acres and is expected to create more than 100 area jobs.
The project is being developed by The Viera Company in partnership with Daniel Todd of Rogue Wave Hospitality Group, the team behind local favorites including 4th Street Fillin Station, The Alibi Cocktails & Bites, Dirty Birds Tiki Bar & Grill, and Dirty Noodz Ramen & Sake Bar.
Positioned along the water and designed as an open-air destination, Lakeside Social blends the energy of a craft cocktail bar with the flexibility of a true community gathering space; creating a venue that evolves throughout the day and into the evening.
Built as a Central Community Hub
Lakeside Social at Viera Town Center is intentionally designed to serve as a central gathering place for Viera residents and visitors.
The venue will host a wide range of community focused programming, including:
• Live music and local bands
• Performances from local schools and student groups
• Art shows and pop-up markets
• Seasonal festivals and holiday events
• Family friendly activities and daytime programming
All events are designed to be open and accessible to the public, reinforcing the vision of creating a space where people can gather regularly and feel connected.
“We wanted to create something that feels like a backyard on the water; a place the community can truly call their own,” said Daniel Todd, developer and operator. “It’s somewhere you can stop by for an hour and end up staying all day.”
Entertainment and community programming will be led by Eva Rey, Senior Vice President, Community Management and Communications of The Viera Company, who will spearhead all performance pavilion and entertainment activities within the park area, including live music, school performances, seasonal events, and community programming.
“Lakeside Social is about creating experiences that bring people together,” said Eva Rey. “From live music to community events and local performances, our focus is on building something that is welcoming, accessible, and consistently engaging for everyone in Viera. Lakeside Social is the realization of a project that has been a part of the vision for the master planned community of Viera for a very long time and seeing it come to fruition is both satisfying and exciting.”
Rather than focusing on ticketed events and programming, Lakeside Social is designed to deliver consistent, open access entertainment and community driven events.
Anchoring the property will be a large central bar beneath a signature wave shaped roof structure, complemented by a second boathouse style bar overlooking the lake and additional satellite bars to support high volume service.
The venue is designed to transition seamlessly throughout the day:
• Daytime: families, casual dining, relaxed atmosphere
• Afternoon: social gatherings and community events
• Evening: live music, energy, and a vibrant nightlife setting
Lakeside Social will feature a curated lineup of food vendors, with a limited number of spaces still available. Interested operators are encouraged to apply by contacting: Eva M. Rey.
A soft opening is planned for early June 2026, with a grand opening celebration scheduled for Fourth of July weekend. Additional announcements, including vendor partners and event programming, will be released in the coming months.
