FL: Love's Expands with Florida Opening; Renovates Oklahoma and Illinois Locations

Jun 24, 2026

Love’s Travel Stops is expanding its footprint in Florida, with the opening of a new travel stop in Gretna, located at exit 174 off Interstate 10, which will create 75 new jobs for the area. The new travel stop has 121 truck parking spaces and provides free parking for Love’s customers, helping to address the national truck parking shortage. So far in 2026, Love’s has added 991 truck parking spaces across the country.

Located between existing travel stops in Cottondale and Lee, the new location in Gretna provides a much-needed stop for professional drivers, RVers and motorists navigating Interstate 10 in the Florida Panhandle. This expansion directly supports the regional and national supply chain by adding essential truck parking and fueling capacity along a heavy freight corridor where reliable, clean amenities are vital for driver safety and transport efficiency.

As a new Love’s location, the Gretna travel stop has space allocated for EV chargers, allowing Love’s to quickly partner with local utility companies to install charging stations should customer demand arise.

In honor of the grand opening in Gretna, Love’s will donate $2,500 each to Gretna Elementary School and West Gadsden Middle School. The company will also donate $5,000 to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Additionally, Love’s district managers work with eligible nonprofits in their area to make donations through community grants on an annual basis.

Under Love’s Road Ahead Plan, the company recently celebrated the grand reopenings of its country store in Elk City, Oklahoma, and its travel stop in Roscoe, Illinois. Guests can now experience updated environments designed to improve traffic flow and elevate the overall shopping experience. Both locations feature fully renovated and modernized restrooms and remodeled sales floors. So far in 2026, Love’s has completed updates to 18 locations and opened 10 new stores.

In honor of the grand reopenings, Love’s will donate $5,000 to the Oklahoma Health Foundation and $5,000 to the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
