The City of Pinellas Park, a city of approximately 55,000 people, is simply centered in the heart of Pinellas County and the Tampa Bay Region, near Florida’s Gulf Coast.  We are minutes away from the Gulf beaches, Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg.  For those who enjoy small town character with big city amenities, Pinellas Park is ideal.

Business Friendly

Our City was recently ranked among the top 50 cities in the Nation to start a small business, according to Site Selection Magazine.  Small businesses are the backbone of our community.  Of the over 4,500 established businesses in Pinellas Park, 92% have less than 20 employees.

Pinellas Park is also the County’s manufacturing hub with 31% of land zoned for manufacturing uses and more than 100 manufacturing-related businesses.  Manufacturing employs over 10 percent of the local workforce.

The City demonstrates that it is business friendly through economic incentives, timely permitting, low fees, and helpful staff.  The mission of Pinellas Park is to provide superior yet cost-effective municipal services to our community through teamwork, a “can do” attitude, continual improvement and genuine respect for all people.
