The City of Pinellas Park, a city of approximately 55,000 people, is simply centered in the heart of Pinellas County and the Tampa Bay Region, near Florida’s Gulf Coast.  We are minutes away from the Gulf beaches, Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg.  For those who enjoy small town character with big city amenities, Pinellas Park is ideal.

Business Friendly

Our City was recently ranked among the top 50 cities in the Nation to start a small business, according to Site Selection Magazine.  Small businesses are the backbone of our community.  Of the over 4,500 established businesses in Pinellas Park, 92% have less than 20 employees.

Pinellas Park is also the County’s manufacturing hub with 31% of land zoned for manufacturing uses and more than 100 manufacturing-related businesses.  Manufacturing employs over 10 percent of the local workforce.

The City demonstrates that it is business friendly through economic incentives, timely permitting, low fees, and helpful staff.  The mission of Pinellas Park is to provide superior yet cost-effective municipal services to our community through teamwork, a “can do” attitude, continual improvement and genuine respect for all people.

Pinellas Park was recently named one of the top 10 most affordable cities in Florida by New Home Source Magazine.

Pinellas Park offers a variety of parks for all ages and abilities.  Currently there are facilities for baseball, football, soccer, swimming, pickleball, tennis, fishing, disc golf, basketball, walking, jogging and horseback riding within the City.  The City also has a 40-acre agricultural farm that hosts educational programs.

Restaurant The Youth Park Sports Complex, a 39 acre, $27 million project which is currently in the design phase, will have new baseball, football, and soccer fields.  Youth Park will serve the Tampa Bay Region and also be a sports tourism destination and an economic driver for the City.

Another upcoming project is Pinellas Park’s City Center.  The City Center will be a walkable area with breweries, retail, a new City park for concerts and festivals, and a mix of residential uses.
