In 2008, Canada accounted for close to $4.8 billion of Georgia’s exports. Main products include machinery, transportation equipment, electrical equipment, plastics and textile floor covering. The state of Georgia has had representation in Canada since 1981, and Atlanta is home both to a Canadian Consulate General and a Quebec Trade & Investment Office.
