In partnership with the City of Jeffersonville Mayor Tom Galligan and the City of Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer, Connextions, Inc., a pre-eminent technology and business services partner to the health care industry, today announced the addition of 750 jobs in Jeffersonville, IN, as a result of new business growth within its health care customer base. The positions will be located at the existing Jeffersonville solution center and range from licensed and non-licensed health agent roles, to coaches, managers, technologists and more. Information on the available positions is posted at www.jobs.connextions.com.

Recruiting for the new positions has already begun and will continue through July. More than one-third of the positions will be year-round employment, and the remaining will be seasonal with strong opportunities for the top performers to remain on board year-round. Many of the positions will support the important Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) for Americans over age 65.

“We are glad to be thriving in these challenging economic times and to be adding 750 jobs in Indiana in response to the growing demand for our health care consumer engagement solution,” said Todd Baxter, executive vice president of Connextions’ Consumer Division. “Demand is growing very steadily for our deep experience working with consumers as they purchase health care products – like health insurance – and learn how to use their plans to get well and stay well. We are committed to having 100 percent of our employees located in the United States. The consumer experience is much smoother when Americans familiar with the U.S. health care system are serving the needs of other Americans who are navigating it,” said Baxter.

A helping hand for the Indiana and Kentucky communities in these tough economic times

In response to the urgent need for more licensed insurance agents, Connextions is offering a free (and proven successful) College of Insurance training at their Jeffersonville Solution Center to help interested Indiana and Kentucky residents become ready for state insurance exams that will enable them to become certified to sell health insurance. Participants in the program are not required to work for Connextions, but qualified candidates who obtain their licenses will be extended offers to join the Connextions team. More details on this training are at www.jobs.connextions.com.

“With the rapid growth in the need for licensed insurance agents in the United States, it’s great to be able to step up to offer free educational programs to help Indiana and Kentucky citizens to be prepared to set out on a new and strong career path” said Dion Raymond, vice president in charge of Connextions’ Jeffersonville solution center. “Our people combined with our bConnected® consumer engagement platform are simplifying complex, personal and important health care decisions for millions of Americans every year. This two to four week training program perfectly positions our new hires to become a part of this important effort very quickly.”
