Syndicate Claim Services, Inc., a provider of tailored claim services, appraisal, umpire, dispute resolution and litigation support, announced plans to expand its Indianapolis-based corporate operations, nearly doubling its team by the end of 2023.
"Small businesses have a major impact on our state, making up 99.4% of all businesses in Indiana and employing 45% of Indiana's workforce, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration," said Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger. "It's great to see innovation-focused Syndicate finding success in our state and nationwide, doubling its Indiana team and creating more quality jobs for Hoosiers."
The company, which specializes in claims services for commercial, residential and liability/casualty carriers, third-party administrators and self-insured entities, is growing due to the demand of innovative insurance solutions. Syndicate will invest $559,000 over the next few years to modernize the company's 4,000-square-foot headquarters at 8383 Craig St. in Indianapolis and provide professional development opportunities to its growing team.
“We believe in strengthening the communities that we support and it is important that we provide career opportunities that build successful, productive citizens in all parts of the Hoosier state," said Josh Morgan, Syndicate Claims president and CEO.
Syndicate, which currently employs 31 in Indiana and has more than 350 associates, consultants and contractors nationwide, plans to create up to 26 new jobs in Indiana by the end of 2023 to support its growth. The company is actively hiring for positions in accounting, marketing, business development, human resources/talent management and several other claim management and adjuster related positions. Founded in 2006 by brothers Josh and Patrick Morgan, Syndicate provides property and casualty claims adjusting services for clients across the U.S., with a focus on excellent customer service, a consistent quality claims product and a superior claim experience from beginning to end. The company delivers 24/7 daily residential and commercial claims assistance along with its national catastrophe program. To fuel its growth in Indiana, the company utilized the Central Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) for strategic planning, market research and state specific business insights. In recognition of their impact on Indiana’s economy, Syndicate received the Small Business Impact Award during the Indiana SBDC's annual award ceremony during National Small Business Week in 2018.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Syndicate Claims Services, Inc. up to $265,000 in conditional tax credits based on the company's job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning the company is eligible to claim incentives once Hoosiers are hired. The city of Indianapolis supports the project at the request of Develop Indy.
