Leading electrical contractor announces significant hiring initiative for major data center project in Cedar Rapids.

Helix Electric Inc., a leading electrical contracting company, plans to hire 400 skilled professionals for a new data center project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The company is seeking Iowa Licensed Journeymen, Commissioning Technicians, Quality Technicians, Site Safety Managers, Warehouse Support Staff, Foremen, Superintendents, and Project Managers.

The data center project aligns with Iowa's emergence as a leading digital infrastructure hub in the Midwest, with recent major investments from tech giants such as the recent approval for two major data center investments totaling over $1 billion, helping cement Cedar Rapids as a Midwest U.S. data center hub.
