The Dodge City Industrial Park site is flat, with no flood history. No major earthwork would be required for drainage or pre-construction leveling. The 240-acre park, with 180 available acres, is owned by the Dodge City/Ford County Development Corporation. The park is zoned heavy industrial in an Enterprise Zone. The fire class rating is 5. Rail service runs through the center of the park, with service provided by Burlington Northern and Santa Fe. The site is within two miles of the Dodge City Regional Airport, which has a 6,900-foot instrument landing runway and a 4,650-foot crosswind runway. All utilities have been extended into the park and street lighting has been installed in a portion of it. No special assessments are pending at this time.
