Fareway Meat & Grocery is proud to announce the grand opening of its newest location in Basehor, Kansas — marking a significant milestone as the company’s first full-service meat and grocery store in the state. The 21,000 square foot location brings Fareway’s signature commitment to quality and service with gratitude.

Located at 15790 State Avenue, the Basehor store features all the amenities Fareway customers have come to expect, including a full-service butcher counter with fresh, hand-cut meats, farm-fresh produce, low, competitive prices; and the highest level of customer service, including to-your-car carryout. The new store will offer FastLanes, a self-service checkout option, and online shopping and curbside pick-up, available at Shop.Fareway.com. A back-up generator will also ensure operations continue without interruption should the store ever lose power. At the heart of the market is an industrial-sized smoker, designed to prepare premium specialty meats that reflect the bold flavors and culinary traditions of the Kansas City region.
The Basehor store will be led by Grocery Manager, Kris Erdman and Market Manager, Chris Jorgenson.
