Premier Beverage Inc. announced recently that it will consolidate two offices into a new Overland Park-based regional headquarters. Premier Beverage is a wholly owned subsidiary of Glazer’s Distributors, one of the country’s largest distributors of alcoholic beverages. In October, the company will move 122 administrative, sales, marketing and office employees from locations in Lenexa and Kansas City, Mo.
“Our Overland Park office is going to be our central sales office for both Kansas City, Missouri, and Kansas City, Kansas,” said Pat McNamara, Glazer’s vice president of operations. “This is the first time we have combined offices in two states. We look forward to hosting our suppliers that will visit us from all over the world. This office space will be a great addition to our facilities.”
Premier Beverage’s new, 20,000-square-foot regional headquarters will be located at 5200 Metcalf Avenue. The Dallas-based company, which distributes and markets wine and spirits in 12 states and generates more than $3 billion in annual revenue, will make a $2.7 million capital investment in the space.
